Meet Dr. Joshua Bruce
My motto is “Changing Lives One Smile at a Time.” I am confident that I possess the highest qualifications and am extremely well skilled in all phases of orthodontic treatment, and strive for excellence to ensure you will receive the best care possible.
I was born in Wichita, Kansas, and come from a family of 12 children. Prior to becoming an orthodontist, I was a mechanical engineer working in Denver and Oklahoma City. As much as I enjoyed what I was doing, something was missing.
So after searching for a career where I could make a personal impact in people’s lives, I had the opportunity to work with a dentist on a mission trip in Mexico, which sparked a new passion and began my long journey that led me through dental school. I graduated with my degree in orthodontics from St. Louis University in December 2013. After completing my residency, I started working as an associate orthodontist in New Mexico and became a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics in March 2015.
In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, acting, artwork (such as sculpture and woodworking), photography, writing, and gardening. I also enjoy hiking and exploring various outdoor activities. I strive to stay active in my community and am looking forward to being involved in all our local areas that we serve.
We accept new patients of all ages and I look forward to meeting each of you. I am very excited about being here in the Northwoods!
